- Website hosting and infrastructure: our website is hosted on WordPress.com, operated by Automattic, Inc. WordPress.com and its integrated services (including Jetpack analytics) process standard web traffic data on our behalf in accordance with Automattic’s privacy practices.
- Email delivery: contact form submissions are routed to our business email at Nick.Hochstedler@HossAutomation.com, which is hosted on Google Workspace (operated by Google LLC).
- Professional advisors: we may share limited information with attorneys, accountants, or other professional advisors bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property.
- Business transitions: in the event of a sale, merger, reorganization, or similar transaction involving Hoss Automation LLC, customer information may transfer to the successor entity as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
We do not share contact form submissions or client information with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing services.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:

7. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Contact form submissions where no engagement follows: retained for up to three (3) years, then deleted or de-identified.
- Client records (signed agreements, project communications, invoices): retained for seven (7) years after engagement ends, consistent with Indiana business record-keeping standards and federal tax retention requirements.
- Website analytics and web log data: retained per the default retention policies of WordPress.com and Jetpack.
You may request earlier deletion of your information as described in Section 9.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies set by WordPress.com and its built-in analytics feature (Jetpack Stats). These cookies support essential site functionality, maintain session state, and provide aggregate visitor analytics. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Montana, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws: you have rights comparable to those above under your state’s law.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents
We process your personal data on the lawful bases of consent (for optional communications) and legitimate interest (for responding to inquiries and operating our business). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
